The International Association for Impact Assessment (IAIA) is committed to global leadership to advance best practice in all forms of impact assessment via our network of members and practitioners.  We deeply value equitable and sustainable development and the right of citizens to have a voice in the decisions that affect them.  For those reasons, IAIA has created, and is accepting applications for, the IAIA20 Conference Inclusiveness Bursary.  Up to 15 bursaries may be given to representatives of Indigenous Peoples, affected communities, and under-represented populations in the form of a reduced registration fee of US$300, rather than the full US$1085.  The recipients are expected to cover all other costs associated with attending the conference.  It is IAIA’s hope that these bursaries will assist those individuals and groups who may be marginalized, vulnerable, or disadvantaged to be able build their knowledge and capacity to lead or participate in impact assessments through participation in our premier annual event.
